Carobell Employees Make a Difference!
The success of the Carobell program is due to loyal, dedicated employees who unselfishly serve our individuals. It is our policy to provide the best possible working conditions and benefits for our staff.
Carobell offers 10 paid holidays, paid vacation, paid sick leave and paid bereavement leave. Full-time employees are offered the following insurance coverage:
Carobell's Profit Sharing / 401K Plan: Carobell's plan allows for both discretionary profit sharing contributions and voluntary employee payroll deductions to the 401K Plan. Employees who are 21 years of age or older are eligible to join after one year of service (1,000 hours). Employees become fully vested in the profit sharing plan after three years of service.

Carobell has several Employee Recognition programs:

Company sponsored celebrations and cookouts: Throughout the year, Carobell sponsors staff appreciation luncheons and cookouts for its employees.

Caught in the Act: Employees may nominate co-workers who go above and beyond the call of duty in their service at Carobell. Winners are recognized at the General Staff Meetings and receive a gift of appreciation.

Longevity Awards: As employees complete five, ten, and fifteen or more years of service, they are awarded with a special gift at the Annual Carobell Birthday Party.

NORCARR: Each year, individuals are chosen for the North Carolina Association of Residential Resources Award. The Anne Wolfe and Virginia Franks Award winners are honored at the annual banquet in Raleigh.

Caring for Us
This program is designed to provide asistance for employees who may have an emergency need for food or financial aid. Caring For Us is dependent on voluntary contributions from Carobell staff. Any time during the year, employees may contribute non-perishable food items or monetary contributions that are used specifically for staff needs.
Individuals interested in employment may apply in person at the Human Resources Department located in the Administrative offices at: 198 Cinnamon Drive in Hubert, NC. For your convenience, the Employment Application is available below. Application hours are: 8:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Resumes to accompany your application can be faxed to our confidential FAX line (910) 326-2427. |
