Currently residing at Sandridge III, Dustin has been an integral part of the Carobell family for 30 years! His mom, Terri stated that she knew Carobell was great for Dustin, but that didn’t stop her from crying every time that she had to return home after a visit. Dustin has that effect on many people! He has made so many friends over the years with staff members who still remain in contact with him and come back to visit!

Hats off to Dr. Rachel Jordan for completing her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration! Dr. Jordan came to work for Carobell in December 2018. The role that Rachel filled, Vice President of Informatics and Quality, did not even exist at the time. But, Dr. Ervin, our President/CEO, knew that we needed someone with Rachel’s skills and experience in order for us to progress as a business to the next level.

The NCDOT Bike Helmet Initiative is an effort by the state to keep children safe when riding bicycles by distributing helmets to low-income families. Following an application process, Carobell was chosen by this program and given 50 bicycle helmets, with the directive to partner with the community to donate. Our Programming department teamed up with Sandridge Elementary School, furthering our commitment to community outreach.
