President's Message

Vanessa-Ervin-R6-F16.jpg

Since I became President of Carobell Incorporated, it has been my privilege to guide the administration through major overhauls and prevalent changes within the mental health service delivery system.  Today, we remain a solid, financially secure non-profit, that continues to find new avenues of supports for the individuals we serve.

For the past 17 years, I have walked proudly in the reflection of two 20th century women. Women whose ideas are as fresh for us today, as they were forty years ago. Virginia Franks and Tina Midgett devoted their energies and resources to change the lives of children born with severe/profound developmental disabilities; many with limited life expectancy. Because of their initiative, we have served children and adults from twenty-six counties across the state of North Carolina.

It is a rare privilege to inherit a vision. We at Carobell, Inc. resolve to make our founders' vision our own and to work with passion and creativity in fulfilling their mission.
